12-10 Geal - Losing My Feelin' (SMC 009)

12-10 Geal - Losing My Feelin' (SMC 009)

A Losing My Feelin' (The Beholder & Balistic Remix)
Remix - Beholder, The & Balistic
B Losing My Feelin' (Original Mix)

Todays vinyl is a classic again, on the Seismic label.

The a-side contains the Beholder and balistic remix, wich is my favorite. Its a real classic! It has a great drive in it wich just keeps on going. It is really one of the most spinned early hardstyle tracks in such sets.

The b-side contains the original mix, i actually never listened it, so i cant say anything about it. Probably its a less hard track i think, more hardtrance, but im not able to listen it now.

11-10 Noisecontrollers - Shreek (FUSION 045-5)

11-10 Noisecontrollers - Shreek (FUSION 045-5)

A Shreek 6:02
B1 Venom 6:55
B2 Rushroom 5:58

Todays vinyl is a great one produced by the Noisecontrollers.

The a-side contains shreek, the biggest hit of this vinyl, a really great track with a good atmosphere. The vocals are taken from a poem if im right. The melody and break are the best in this i think. A really good job from NC.

The b1 contains Venom, a huge track, the best on this vinyl in my eyes. Lately it got remixed by wildstylez wich is on their latest vinyl. This track exist trough awesome reversed basslines and a huge atmosphere trough a perfect worked-our screech. The climax has a good melody too, not very difficult, just banging greatly.

The b2 contains rushroom, a more experimental track but a bit boring in my view. The melody is too simple and plain in my eyes, wich ruins the track a bit. Im sure there are a lot people who love the track, because it aint a bad one for sure. But just not my cup of tea

10-10 Luna - Unlocked (MIM002)

10-10 Luna - Unlocked (MIM002)

A Unlocked
B1 Who We Are
B2 Choices
Featuring - Crypsis

Todays vinyl is one of the Minus is more label, one of my favorite labels.

The a-side contains Unlocked, a very original and special track. The first time i heard it i disliked it but after some listens it grow on me, and now i totally love it! The great atmosphere in it, the strong sonic kicks, the vocals wich are neathly badass , no bigtalk just plain text. And the part where that insane kick comes in, after the vocals is almost orgasmic! This track is more techstylish i think, cant really put my finger on it, but original for sure!

The b1-side contains Who we are a nice track, but not so good as the other two in my eyes. Its a good track but not as original or banging as the other two in my eyes.

The b2-side contains Choises, a lovely track too, wich grow on me too, specially trough the crypsis album. The track really has crypsis influences wich is like very much, i really dig his style. Those vocals are very good too, im curious where it came from, because they sound like they are from a movie or something. The track is nice and rough trough the whole (almost) seven minutes, the break is good, because its not too cheesy and it brings up a great atmosphere, you really want to scream those vocals when you hear it live. I specially like the part where it says Carry it forward! and then the climax bangs in. Overall a great track, not as original as the a-side (due its totally crypsis style, in my eyes) but if you look at other tracks of that time it is original.

9-10 Hardstyle Mafia - Takin' Over / Heaven Above (BIR003)

9-10 Hardstyle Mafia - Takin' Over / Heaven Above (BIR003)

A Hardstyle Mafia meets Alphaverb - Takin' Over!
Written-By, Producer - Daniƫl Noordijk , Jesse Jokinen , Markus Jokinen
B Hardstyle Mafia meets DJ Sasha F* - Heaven Above
Vocals - Elina Eilonen
Written-By, Producer - Jesse Jokinen , Markus Jokinen

Todays vinyl is one from april 2008, a great one, and the last good Bazz Implant (after this one alphaverb and hardstyle mafia left BIR)

The a-side contains a collab between alphaverb and hardstyle mafia, a lovely track and one of my alltime favourites. It has some cool vocals wich are really catchy. Overall the track sounds more alphaverbish then HM-ish in my ears but thats no problem because i like both. It has a great buildup and original synth use.

The b-side contains another collab, Hardstyle Mafia meets Sasha F. A more tough one than the a-side and a really original track in my eyes. Though it has a kinda cheesy break the whole track isnt cheesy at all. The track is a great one but not as cool as the a-side for me. The break is taken from Whirl & Mayer - Heaven Above if im right, they are credited too on the vinyl.

8-10 Beholder, The & Balistic - Decibel Anthem (SMCSP001)

8-10 Beholder, The & Balistic - Decibel Anthem (SMCSP001)

A Decibel Anthem (Original Mix)
B Decibel Anthem (Max Enforcer Remix)
Remix - Max Enforcer

Todays vinyl is again a classic, one of the biggest in my eyes. Produced by Beholder & Balistic, also known as Neophyte & Panic or Hard Creation (hardcore aliases)

The a-side contains the classic itself, a lovely early hardstyle decibel anthem for 2002. Wich is remixed in 2008 by DBSTF (good but not better in my eyes) This track is kinda long but it has a great atmosphere all over it. I mostly mix it in at the part where the bassline starts. It contains epic vocals, and great sounds for those times. A unit for expressing the intensity of sound! De-ci-bel! A great tom/bell rythm is also in it for the mid. The melody in the climax is very good too. Overall this track is just a classic every hardstyle lover should know as a basic, because its damn awesome!

The b-side contains a good remix, wich is more hardtrance-ish, by Max Enforcer aka Evil Activities (max e hardtrance :O ?) Yes that was what i thought too. But remember that this is produced in the early summer of 2002 when he only did beating of the drumz before it in hardstyle. Its a great remix in its sort in my eyes. I wont spin it because the a-side is just too damn awesome, but this remix is really top of the bill. He changed alot in the track wich makes it a real other mix then the a-side, more a standalone track then a remix.

7-10 The Pitcher - Start Rocking (SPK005-5)

7-10 The Pitcher - Start Rocking (SPK005-5)

A Start Rocking (Cenoginerz Remix)
Remix - Cenoginerz
B Start Rocking (Original Version)

A great old hardstyler again, one of the first on superplastik, produced by musical genius Michel Pollen!

A side contains the Cenoginerz remix, the most common version of this track, a great reversed bass drive all over the track, and a great melody. The vocals are good too, brilliant for an opening of your sets. Start rocking! It has a harder mid/climax part with no reversed bass but more a kick and bass wich sounds like donkey rollers kicks.

B side, i cant tell much about it now, its the original version, but actually i never listened to it, and i cant listen it now because im not at the turntable place...
