B2 Acid Nightmare (Original) (6:32)

This is an early hardstyle favourite of mine, talking about the B2, original mix. I bought this one at my first order at freaky, They didnt have Abject - in our memories anymore and then i asked for this one. Later i bough the original vinyl on tracid traxx too.
This track's foundation lays in a stunning acid line, and a good piano piece wich is quite easy but it brings some dark atmosphere in the track. People who nowadays listen to hardstyle, and dont old tracks as these will probably call it hardtrance. But in the days that tracid traxx was releasing this awesome stuff it wasnt called hardstyle allready but it was a fusion of different sounds such as techno, trance and acid, filled with a reversed bassline wich isnt that distorted yet as it later will (2003-2006 sound).

The B1 contains a future tribes remix wich i cant really put my word on, I actually never listened that track before, only Pilas edit and the original wich i love. But this one really is worth listening! It sounds like a techtrance track to me, a bit like most straight on black releases. It has a great atmosphere in it, and i love the way they distorted and reverbed that little pianoline.

The aside, pilas 2006 update, is exactly what the name saids, a little update from the 1999-2002 sound to the 2006 sound, without ruining a classic. A bit more pounding basslines in it, for giving it a 2006 flavour.
