Todays vinyl is the latest release of The Pitcher! Produced by mastermind Pollen.
The a-side contains Shine, a track with a standard Pollen buildup for these days, starts out with some soft rythms, then the kicks and bass come in and after that the mid melo/ rythms come in. Nothing bad, but just quite standard. After the mid it opens with some nice vocals done by MC Dv8, wich has a lovely voice for hardstyle in my eyes. These vocals are good too, and the melody aint as "super" as the release before it (serenity/our core) but just a decent and simple melody wich does its work greatly. The main thing about this track is that good vocals in my eyes, and offcourse the great producing work by mister Pollen.
The b-side contains I Just Can't Stop, again same buildup but thats actually quite handy for mixing (if you dont know the track that well) This track also contains some nice vocals, but not done by DV8 this time. The most important piece of this track is the melody, its just huge/euphoric/super as mister Pollen can do! The only thing i dont like about this track is that the climax is so short, you have a long break wich fits great, but the climax is gone before you know it, a pity in my eyes. Overall a great track, with an awesome melody!
