29-9 Knockout - B/Heaven (EXP 016)

Today's vinyl is an old knockout (activator)! I bought this one in a big stack, and enjoyed both sides so i kept it!

A1 contains B, wich contains vocals from Bird (dont know the original total name, but b-b-b-b-bird is enought to describe i think:P)It has nice old activator reversed bass! Though it aint a real aggresive rev bass (in the intro). The "break" (hardkicks and screech) is aggressive/ rough like we're used to with activator. The reversed bass in the break/climax is harder too! The outro/mid has another bassline namely a double one, very enjoyable ! Overall a nice simple track, nothing special but good enough for that days.

B1 contains heaven, wich is a more hardtrance-ish song. The intro allready contains a hardtrance acid-bass. And the "screech" sound and that rough either, but it has a great drive! Alltough the "mid" is a bit long, wich bores at some point. But the break makes up for that, it's a brilliant one! The buildup of it, and the melody is done very well. But when the actual climax is there, the track is almost at its end allready, such a pity in my eyes. It has an outro, but it aint that long, so you gotta be mixing right in the start of it, or even in the climax allready.
