6-9 Donkey Rollers - Immeasurably / Revolutions (Fusion 023-5)
This vinyl, is the most sold hardstyle vinyl ever. And is been played very much on different partys. Its produced by Zany and Pollen and released on the lovely fusion label.
The A-side is one of the best donkeyrollers tracks in my opinion, those typical kicks and basslines, those lovely distorted kicks between it. And than comes in the epic break with first some good vocals wich make sense (rare in hs) after that the melody comes in wich is great for that time and fits the track perfectly. I mostly like the kicks in this track plus the way they distorted them often, to create certain rythms wich are epic and re-created a lot later in other tracks.
The b-side contains Revolutions, wich allready starts with a nice bassline wich only plays at the first and the third beat. Then it holds a bit to create some tension and then it bangs fully in. Awesome bassline with just some little addition of synths. Then starts a little melody, a very easy and repetetive one, but it fits the bassline perfectly. This track also got the certain distorted kicks&bass rhythms wich did set an example for the future. Then comes the melody, wich sounds dark and is again not to difficult so its accesible. Then the climax and outro mid are kinda the same. I love this track, maybe more then the a-side, but the a-side got a better euphoric/epic feeling in it and is more known so i probably spin that one more.
